Practice
Our Mission in Practice
A mission is a commitment, not a list of achievements. Any activity Hawaiian Horse Heritage undertakes must be developed responsibly — with appropriate resources, qualified expertise, necessary permissions, and careful organizational planning.
Where the welfare of horses or the safety of participants is involved, those considerations come first. Where cultural knowledge is involved, we seek guidance from knowledgeable community members rather than speaking on their behalf.
